Family photography will always be deeply personal to me—because this business was built on love, faith, and the people God placed in my life.

When I was 21, my husband Ethan bought me my very first camera. At the time, it felt like a sweet and thoughtful gift—something fun, something creative. I don’t think either of us realized that one small purchase would someday turn into a business, a calling, and a way for me to serve families in such a meaningful way. Looking back now, I see how God was already writing this story long before I understood it.

Everything changed after our son Eli turned one. Motherhood reshaped my heart in ways I could have never imagined. I wanted to be present. I wanted to stay home, soak in every season, and raise him with intention. But I also wanted to contribute—to help support our family and build something of my own. So I took that camera and turned it into a business, not out of ambition for wealth, but out of a desire for balance, purpose, and a comfortable, steady life rooted in what truly matters.

I’ve never wanted to be rich. I’ve wanted to be home. I’ve wanted peace. Time. Flexibility. A life that allows me to love my family well while still using the gifts God gave me. This business has become a beautiful middle ground—where faith, family, creativity, and calling meet.

That’s why family photography means so much to me.

Every session reminds me how fleeting time really is. How quickly babies grow. How fast childhood fades. How precious it is to freeze a season before it passes. These photos become more than images—they become memories, legacies, and reminders of God’s goodness through the years.

And if I’m honest… part of my passion comes from a quiet ache.

I often think about my grandparents, and how I wish we had done a proper photoshoot with them before they passed. I wish we had more beautiful, intentional images to hold onto now—more moments preserved, more memories frozen in time. That longing stays with me, and it fuels the way I photograph families today. I never want someone to look back and wish they had captured more of their loved ones while they had the chance.

Because one day, these photos may be all we have left—and what a gift it is to have them.

When I photograph families, I’m not just capturing smiles or posed moments. I’m preserving love. Connection. Generations. The quiet in-between moments that often mean the most. I’m documenting the blessings God has placed right in front of us—even in seasons that feel ordinary.

It reminds me that our families are sacred gifts—entrusted to us for a season, meant to be cherished, protected, and remembered.

My prayer is that every gallery I deliver becomes more than a collection of photos. I hope they become reminders of God’s faithfulness. Proof of love. Windows into the beautiful legacy each family is building.

Because this business isn’t just about photography.

It’s about faith.

It’s about family.

It’s about legacy.

And it’s about honoring the life God has so graciously given us.

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
